Tresque it’s the name of an almost forgotten medieval dance turned into “an idea of Techno”. Laurent Peter aka d'incise enters the dance floor - site of the gathering - from the side, with an eye on traditions, construction of reality and fantasy, and the tension between statism and evolution.

Coming from an extended artistic career as improvisation and experimental musician, Tresque returns to his roots that lie in dub music and the sound system culture. The pulse has been growing, slowly and deeply, shaping an idea of groove by reducing it to a simpler and shorter form. In circular movements, Tresque carves his music out of samples and amplified noises using dub techniques and influenced by musique concrète.

If ''La Tresque'' is a medieval dance from Italie at the origin of the farandole, our TRESQUE sends us waltzing to the four corners of the galaxy!
BAL ALARMANT comes from the live set of TRESQUE at the New Trad Fest 2025. Latent memory of the Salle des Fêtes in the village of Saint-Aignan and the big sound of the Distomobile. Alongside TRESQUE (in DUB), TRESQUE "in TRAD" comes to immortalize a sound and collective experience, just "tradscendantale"

With "Tendresse, encore", Tresque brings back his music, his "idea-of-techno", to a distant evocation of the dancelfoor. Recording the last breathes of dying loudspeakers, he builds complex micro-grooves on an ever present bass pulse, in a single long ghostly - and tender - piece.
